Trump Crypto Ventures Suffer $4.7 Billion in Investor Losses Amid Expanding Business Empire
Investors in crypto ventures linked to President Donald Trump and his family are facing significant losses. The TRUMP memecoin, launched by World Liberty Financial, has resulted in estimated losses of $3.2 billion for investors, with approximately 1.6 million Solana wallets holding unrealized losses.
The total losses from these crypto ventures amount to at least $4.7 billion, according to reports. This includes losses from the TRUMP memecoin, World Liberty Financial's WLFI token, and Trump Media & Technology Group's Bitcoin holdings.
Meanwhile, the Trump family is expanding its crypto business with plans for a crypto bank backed by foreign investors, including Abu Dhabi Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan. This investment has drawn scrutiny from Democratic lawmakers over potential conflicts of interest.
