U.S. President Donald Trump recently distanced himself from TRUMP Coin, stating he neither operates nor monitors the token.
In a September 4 remark, Trump clarified his role in the project, saying he doesn't run it and doesn't focus on it. He added that someone had told him it 'sells very well.'
The token's price fell 5.61% to $2.26 over the past 24 hours, according to CoinMarketCap data.
TRUMP Coin traded below three Fibonacci resistance levels after its August rebound from near $1.36. The nearest marked support is around $1.8601, based on the 78.6% retracement.
