Trump Draws Red Line on Chinese Crypto Dominance
US President Donald Trump has spoken out about his stance on the cryptocurrency market and China's involvement in it. In an interview, Trump emphasized that the US must maintain its leadership in the sector and not allow China to dominate it.
Trump stated, 'We don't want China to take over crypto. I don't want China to win in artificial intelligence either. We cannot allow China to overtake us in this area.'
He also mentioned that the US is currently ahead of China in the field of artificial intelligence and that this advantage must be preserved.
When discussing Bitcoin, Trump noted that he's seeing more payments being made with it and considers its increasing use a positive development for the country.
'I'm seeing more people paying with Bitcoin; they don't even know what cash is anymore,' he said.
