Trump Dumps MicroStrategy, Buys Coinbase and Robinhood Stock
Former President Donald Trump's financial disclosure has revealed that he sold MicroStrategy shares and purchased two other crypto stocks in June. The document, published by the Office of Government Ethics, lists over 1,000 transactions involving securities, with only 7 related to cryptocurrency companies.
The sales include three transactions involving Coinbase Global, totaling between $116,003 and $315,000, as well as two sales of Strategy Inc (the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin) shares for $16,002 to $65,000 on June 23 and 24. Trump also purchased Robinhood Markets stock on June 3 for between $1,001 and $15,000.
Notably, no spot Bitcoin ETFs, mining companies, or Trump Media shares appear in the document. The filing lists various fund holdings, including iShares, SPDR, and Vanguard funds. On the other hand, crypto ventures account for a significant portion of Trump's personal earnings, with his 2025 annual disclosure showing around $1.4 billion in crypto-related income.
