Trump Family Moves $20 Billion Crypto Holdings to Vesting Contract
US President Donald Trump's family has made a significant move in their cryptocurrency holdings. In May, four anonymous digital wallets linked to the Trump family moved 20 billion cryptocurrency tokens to a vesting contract. The transaction was revealed by an exclusive report from The Washington Sun and relates to World Liberty Financial ($WLFI), a cryptocurrency firm owned by Trump.
The spokesperson for World Liberty Financial told The Washington Sun that the move was made to comply with new governance rules and is not a step towards selling the holdings. However, independent experts who reviewed the documents said the transaction was 'optional'.
