Trump Gives Green Light for Private Cyber Ops Against Crypto Scam Networks

U.S. President Donald Trump has authorized private companies to participate in cyber operations against foreign networks behind crypto scams.

The program, which will be supervised by a coordination center and two leaders from Justice and Homeland Security, aims to target networks involved in cryptocurrency-related crimes.

In 2025, the FBI recorded 181,565 complaints involving cryptocurrencies, with declared losses reaching 11.366 billion dollars, a 22% annual increase.
