US President Donald Trump hosted a meeting at the White House, attended by senior cryptocurrency industry executives and government officials from the SEC and CFTC.

The gathering came after the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission's (CFTC) Innovation Advisory Committee was convened in Washington D.C.

Trump praised the attendees as 'giants in the financial world' and expressed his enthusiasm for the development of cryptocurrency markets.

He acknowledged that the industry had faced challenges, particularly during the 'corrupt Joe Biden administration', but emphasized that these obstacles were now behind them.
