A Trump-linked merchandise brand is at the center of controversy surrounding a Solana token that experienced a rapid rise and fall. The brand, reportedly licensed by Donald Trump himself, has denied any involvement with the Solana GOLD Token.

The token's price skyrocketed before plummeting, resulting in an 82% supply dump. In response to the debacle, the brand issued a statement claiming it did not authorize the creation of the token and had no affiliation with it whatsoever.
