Trump-Linked Token COLLAPSES, Raises Red Flags Over Crypto Oversight

A Solana-based token called GOLD, promoted by Trump Digital, saw its market capitalization plummet from $50 million to just $500,000 in hours after launch.

The token's value collapsed when team-controlled wallets dumped 224.5 million tokens for $330,000, making a profit of approximately $312,000 or 17 times their initial investment of $18,657.

This incident has intensified scrutiny over the ownership and trading pattern of Trump-linked crypto ventures as the president pushes Congress to advance legislation that would reshape U.S. oversight of digital assets.

Trump Digital is linked to a coin brand that promotes GOLD on its website, although related posts were deleted from Real Trump Coins' X accounts after launch.
