Trump-Linked Wallet Moves $100M ETH to Binance Amid Growing Crypto Ties
A report suggests that a Ethereum wallet associated with former US President Donald Trump has moved $100 million in ETH to Binance. This transfer, if confirmed, would be one of the largest single transfers from a politically linked wallet to a centralized exchange.
The move was reportedly tracked by Arkham Intelligence, which monitors multiple Ethereum addresses associated with Trump and his decentralized finance venture, World Liberty Financial (WLFI). Historically, these wallets have made more modest transfers to exchanges like Coinbase for liquidity purposes.
It's worth noting that WLFI has a significant presence on Binance, with around 85-87% of its USD1 stablecoin concentrated on the platform. This suggests that Binance is not just a trading venue for Trump-linked assets but also the primary infrastructure partner.
