Trump-Linked Wallet Transfers $100M to Binance in Surprise Move
A Trump-linked Ethereum wallet has reportedly transferred $100 million to Binance, raising questions about the intentions behind this significant move. According to Arkham Intelligence, a blockchain analytics firm that tracks wallets associated with public figures and institutions, multiple Ethereum addresses linked to Trump have made various transactions in recent times.
These transfers include purchases as large as $10 million in ETH and smaller deposits to exchanges like Coinbase for liquidity purposes. However, the reported $100 million transfer to Binance is a notable exception, given that larger sums are typically tied to World Liberty Financial (WLFI) operations rather than direct exchange deposits.
The Trump crypto empire holds significant assets, with financial disclosures showing the former president holding over $100 million in Bitcoin and more than $55 million in Ethereum. WLFI has reportedly generated over $1.4 billion in crypto-related gains during certain reporting periods, with roughly 85-87% of USD1, a stablecoin associated with WLFI, concentrated on Binance.
