Trump Media and Crypto.com End Partnerships Amid Shifting Priorities

Trump Media and Crypto.com have mutually decided to end their partnerships due to 'prevailing market conditions and shifting business and stakeholder priorities.'

The decision affects two deals: the proposed SPAC deal to create a new publicly traded digital asset treasury company, Trump Media Group CRO Strategy, Inc., which would accumulate Crypto.com's native token, CRO; and plans to launch multiple exchange-traded funds (ETFs) under the Truth.Fi brand.

Crypto.com will no longer service Yorkville's plans to offer ETFs, but Yorkville America's business remains unchanged. The companies had announced plans to launch crypto ETFs in partnership with Crypto.com.

The news sent CRO down 4% as of 4:40 p.m. EST. Trump Media still holds over $600 million worth of BTC, making it the 14th-largest public bitcoin treasury.
