Trump Media Dives into Bitcoin with $293M Investment Amid Q2 Loss
Trump Media's Q2 loss of $238 million has been offset by a significant investment in Bitcoin. The company added 4,662 BTC to their holdings in the second quarter, bringing their total to 14,139 BTC valued at over $900 million.
The purchase was made at an average price of $62,982 per coin, totaling more than $293 million. This strategic shift towards Bitcoin comes as the company's losses have risen tenfold compared to last year.
Despite this investment, Bitcoin's recovery remains uncertain due to weak network activity and subdued spot liquidity. The spot CVD showed strong demand alongside institutional inflows, but active addresses, transfer volume, and fees declined.
