Trump Media Reveals Massive Cronos Stash Worth Over $34 Million

Trump Media & Technology Group Corp., the parent company of Truth Social, has a substantial stash of Cronos (CRO) tokens on its balance sheet. According to the company's second-quarter earnings report released on Monday, Trump Media holds 756,079,523 CRO tokens valued at $40.60 million as of June 30.

The value of this stake is significantly lower than its initial worth due to a decline in Cronos' price. At current prices, the stash would be worth around $34.45 million. Trump Media's CRO holdings remained unchanged during the first half of 2026, but it recorded an unrealized loss of $27.41 million.

The company has a purchase agreement with Crypto.com, which prohibits it from selling its 684,427,004 CRO tokens for three years. However, beginning August 26, Trump Media will be allowed to sell about 10% of these tokens over the next six months.

In addition to its Cronos stash, Trump Media also holds a significant amount of Bitcoin (BTC) on its balance sheet, valued at more than $900 million at the end of July. Overall, the company recorded a loss of $306.69 million on its digital assets in the first half of 2026.
