Trump Media Suffers $238M Loss Amid Cryptocurrency Volatility
Trump Media and Technology Group reported a net loss of $238 million in Q2 2026, primarily due to $190.4 million in unrealized cryptocurrency and securities losses.
The company's Bitcoin holdings stood at 9,477 BTC on June 30, valued at $557 million, representing a decline from the previous quarter. However, by July 31, Trump Media disclosed ownership of approximately 14,139 BTC, with an estimated market value of $890.5 million.
The proposed merger with Crypto.com and Yorkville Acquisition was terminated due to evolving market dynamics and reprioritized strategic objectives.
