Trump Media Transfers $165 Million in Bitcoin to Crypto.com
Trump Media, associated with current U.S. President Donald Trump, transferred 2.628 BTC on Saturday to Crypto.com. The move represents approximately US$165 million at the time of operation. On-chain data from analytics firm Lookonchain initially suggested a possible sale, but records show only the transfer to the platform.
The transfer is part of Trump Media's bitcoin treasury strategy since May 2025, with Crypto.com and Anchorage Digital as custodians. The company's Q1 2026 10-Q report details restrictions on distributing or withdrawing these bitcoins until at least May 29, 2028.
After the transfer, Trump Media wallets hold about 4.261 BTC, worth around US$268 million with bitcoin near US$63 thousand. This amount is similar to the 4.260.73 BTC declared as collateral for convertible notes on March 31.
