Trump Media Transfers $165M in Bitcoin Holdings

Trump Media's Bitcoin holdings have shrunk significantly after transferring 2,628 BTC to Crypto.com on August 2. The transfer valued at around $165 million was first reported by on-chain analysts Lookonchain.

The move reduced the remaining balance in the wallets to approximately 4,261 BTC, which is nearly identical to the amount pledged as secured convertible-note collateral.

Lookonchain estimates that Trump Media has disposed of a total of 7,281 BTC over seven months. However, neither Trump Media nor an SEC filing has confirmed whether these coins were sold or if the transfer was for another purpose such as a custody change or internal transaction.
