Trump Media Transfers $205M Bitcoin to Crypto.com Amid Financial Struggles

Trump Media & Technology Group made a significant move in its crypto holdings, transferring approximately $205 million of Bitcoin to Crypto.com. This transfer, which occurred on May 22 and was only recently discovered, accounts for around 28% of the company's total Bitcoin holdings.

The amount transferred, 2,650 Bitcoin, is a substantial portion of Trump Media's overall crypto assets. At the time of the transfer, this amount would have been valued at approximately $205 million based on Bitcoin's price.

Trump Media has faced financial struggles in recent quarters, posting a net loss of $405.9 million in the first quarter due to unrealized valuation losses tied to declines in crypto assets such as Bitcoin and Cronos (CRO).
