Trump Sued Over Truth Social Feed Subscription Service
Former President Donald Trump is facing a lawsuit over Truth API, a feature on his social media platform Truth Social. The service delivers his posts to paying subscribers for up to $100,000 a month. Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, Yale Law School's Media Freedom and Information Access Clinic, the Public Integrity Project, and Altshuler Berzon LLP filed the complaint in Manhattan federal court.
The lawsuit poses potential legal and reputational risks for Truth Social that could hinder adoption, partnerships, or future crypto monetization efforts. This is likely to negatively impact market confidence.
