Trump Team Moves $16.9M in TRUMP Tokens Amid Clarity Act Debate

The Official Trump team behind the Donald Trump-backed TRUMP memecoin has made significant on-chain transfers, moving approximately $16.9 million worth of TRUMP tokens to custody wallets.

According to blockchain analytics platform Arkham Intelligence, the team transferred nearly 16.84 million TRUMP tokens, valued at around $16.91 million, to three separate Fireblocks custody addresses.

The transfers have drawn attention as the token's scheduled unlock continues to attract investor interest and lawmakers push forward with the CLARITY Act in the U.S. Senate.

Insiders control a substantial share of the token's supply, holding up to 96 million tokens, representing 9.6% of the total supply and about 40% of the current circulating supply of 237 million tokens.
