President Donald Trump is set to attend a meeting at the White House next Wednesday, according to a person familiar with the event. The gathering will bring together high-level executives from crypto companies and prediction-market venues.

The meeting is expected to take place on August 17, 2026. Michael Selig, chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, will also be in attendance, along with Paul Atkins, chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
