Trump Win Spurs $1M Bitcoin Prediction: Will US Economy Align with Chinese Model?

Bitcoin's recent surge has been unprecedented, reaching an all-time high of $90,000 in just one week. This sudden increase is largely attributed to Donald Trump's presidential election victory, which has sparked a wave of optimism among investors.

Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, believes that Bitcoin could hit $1 million if Trump's administration adopts China's economic framework. In his article 'Black or White?', Hayes proposed the idea of 'American Capitalism with Chinese Characteristics', where key initiatives such as tax breaks and affordable financing options would be implemented to enhance U.S. economic growth.

Hayes anticipates a significant expansion in bank credit, potentially exceeding the $4 trillion stimulus experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic. This increased economic activity may depreciate the U.S. dollar, making Bitcoin an attractive asset. According to Hayes, this could propel Bitcoin's price to $1 million.

The recent price surge has seen Bitcoin rise from around $68,700 to a peak of $89,800 within a week, with the current price sitting at $88,000, an 8% increase in the last 24 hours.
