Trump's $5,000 Payment Plan Sparks Altcoin Frenzy Speculation
US President Donald Trump has announced that adult US citizens would receive $5,000 if Republicans win both the Senate and House of Representatives in the upcoming November 3rd congressional elections. Speaking at a Republican midterm election rally in Dallas, Texas, Trump stated, 'I don't want you spending this money in Canada, China, or Germany. The only condition is that the money is spent in the United States.'
According to Reuters' calculations, if implemented, the total cost of the program could reach around $1.35 trillion, considering the U.S. adult population of approximately 270 million. However, experts believe a presidential decree alone would not be sufficient to implement such a payment; Congress would also need to enact legislation.
Cryptocurrency analyst Mark Chadwick suggests that if Trump's plan is implemented, it could trigger a strong wave of liquidity in the crypto market, potentially leading to an altcoin season. He compares this to the COVID-19 stimulus payments in 2021 and believes the new money entering the market could provide additional momentum to the bull market already forming.
