Trump's $5K Stimulus Could Send XRP Soaring to Unprecedented Heights
US President Donald Trump recently proposed that his administration will pay every adult American $5,000 if his party wins the midterm elections. While this promise is met with skepticism, some analysts believe that free money could boost the cryptocurrency market, particularly altcoins like XRP.
ChatGPT, a popular AI platform, has set specific targets for XRP's potential price increase in the event of such a stimulus package. The most realistic target, according to ChatGPT, would be between $2.50 and $3.00, representing a more than 100% increase from its current price tag of around $1.40.
However, in a follow-up scenario where the broader crypto markets enter a notable expansion wave, similar to the one from two years ago led by Bitcoin's bull market restart, XRP could clear $2.00 and head towards $3.00 within weeks. If financial conditions in the US subsequently ease, ChatGPT becomes substantially more bullish, predicting that $3.00 XRP wouldn't be extreme, and $4.00-$5.00 becomes plausible.
U.S. Representative David Schweikert, an Arizona Republican, expressed concerns about Trump's promise, stating that it would do more damage to working people than help them, as it would cost the country around $1.2 trillion to $1.35 trillion.
