Trump's Crypto Cash Cow: President Rakes in Billions with Memecoins and Truth API
US President Donald Trump's wealth has increased by over $2.2 billion in his first year back in office, according to a financial disclosure in June.
The majority of this revenue came from cryptocurrency businesses, with Trump generating almost $1.2 billion through World Liberty Financial crypto venture and CIC Digital LLC, which brought in more than $600 million from 'memecoins' bearing his image.
Trump Media and Technology Group also launched Truth API, offering early access to the President's posts on Truth Social for a price, with over 10 customers paying between $60,000 and $100,000 per month.
The Trump Store has sold at least 622 Trump-branded products since his second inauguration, including T-shirts, pickleball paddles, and coffee pods, generating an estimated $43 million in revenue.
