John Oliver recently tore into President Trump's crypto foray on HBO's Last Week Tonight.

Oliver criticized the Trump family's handling of digital assets, pointing out that their personal income exceeds $2.2 billion in his first year back in office, with a significant portion coming from crypto.

The comedian also highlighted the President and First Lady's launch of their own meme coins, which crashed 92% and 99% from early highs, resulting in an estimated 1 million retail traders losing $3.8 billion trading $TRUMP ($1.55 · Live).

Oliver suggested that the President was offering White House access in exchange for investment in the meme coin in some cases.
