Trump's Crypto Empire: President Earns Over $1.4 Billion from Cryptocurrency Ventures

President Donald Trump's financial disclosure for 2025 revealed that he earned over $1.4 billion from cryptocurrency-related ventures, making him one of the top crypto earners in the world.

This figure far surpasses what some prominent crypto entrepreneurs made last year and marks a significant U-turn from his previous stance on cryptocurrencies, which he once called a 'scam'.

The majority of Trump's crypto income came from World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a venture launched by his kids in 2024 that sold at least 30 billion tokens across various exchanges. The company pays the Trump family 75% of its profits every time it sells a token.

Additionally, Trump made about $635 million through royalties from the $TRUMP meme coin ecosystem, despite the coin's value plummeting by around 95% since its launch.
