Trump's Crypto Profits Spark Outrage Among Majority of Americans
A recent Reuters survey has reignited the debate over President Trump's cryptocurrency investments. The poll found that 63% of respondents believe it is inappropriate for the president and his family to profit from crypto, while only 32% saw no issue with it.
The survey was conducted between August 14 and August 17, interviewing 1,166 adults, and had a margin of error of around three percentage points. Notably, 92% of Democrats believed the profits were inappropriate, compared to 69% of Republicans who thought they were fine.
President Trump's family has received nearly $800 million from World Liberty Financial, with over $520 million coming from token sales and another $250 million linked to business interest sales. Additionally, he reported $635 million in licensing agreements related to the TRUMP ($1.87 · Live) token.
