Trump's Crypto Stock Activity Limited in Latest Financial Disclosure
President Donald Trump's latest financial disclosure has revealed limited crypto-linked stock activity during June. The filing lists more than 1,000 securities transactions, but only seven involved companies closely tied to digital assets.
MSTR stock sales were among the crypto-related trades reported in the filing. Trump sold Strategy shares on June 23 and June 24, with a combined value ranging from $16,002 to $65,000. There were no Strategy purchases during this period.
Strategy Inc., the issuer of MSTR stock, is the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin and closely tracks changes in its price. Investors often use MSTR as an indirect way to gain Bitcoin exposure through the public equity market.
Coinbase was also mentioned in the filing, with four transactions reported. Three were sales on June 12, June 18, and June 23, valued between $116,003 and $315,000 combined. A Coinbase purchase followed on June 24, worth between $50,001 and $100,000.
The majority of Trump's June investment activity was in traditional companies, with transactions ranging from about $78.1 million to $263.1 million. The largest individual transaction involved a Vanguard exchange-traded fund sale valued between $5 million and $25 million.
