Trump's Financial Priorities Under Fire Amid American Struggles
Senator Elizabeth Warren is criticizing President Donald Trump for prioritizing his own financial activities over efforts to ease the cost of living for Americans. In a recent post on X, Warren stated that people are choosing between paying rent and buying groceries while cutting back on insulin and selling plasma just to get by.
Warren has been a vocal critic of the U.S. health care system, saying it forces families into impossible financial choices. Trump's own financial activities include trading stocks, building a ballroom, putting his face on coins, and selling memecoins, including the Official Trump (CRYPTO: TRUMP) token.
The White House did not respond to Benzinga's request for comment. Trump's blind trust shows over 21,000 stock transactions executed in 2025, including purchases of Uber Technologies (NYSE: UBER), NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA), and Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL).
