Trump's Investment Accounts Report Over 1,000 Trades in June
President Donald Trump's investment accounts have been scrutinized following a recent filing that shows over 1,000 trades in June. The transactions had an estimated combined value ranging from $78.1 million to $263.1 million. According to the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, more than 550 purchases and 450 sales were reported across various stocks, bonds, and exchange-traded funds.
The filing revealed large trades involving Berkshire Hathaway, Visa, Mastercard, Meta, and Coinbase. Trump's accounts bought between $1 million and $5 million each in Fidelity National Information Services and Home Depot on June 22. The largest reported transaction was the sale of between $5 million and $25 million in shares of Vanguard's Dividend Appreciation Index Fund ETF.
The White House has denied any conflict of interest, stating that independent financial institutions manage Trump's stock and bond portfolio through discretionary accounts. Computer-based models automatically replicate recognized indexes and determine when securities are bought or sold.
