Trump's Media Empire Holds Massive Bitcoin Stash and Hundreds of Millions in Cronos Tokens

The Trump Media & Technology Group Corp., which operates Truth Social, holds a massive stash of Bitcoin worth over $900 million at the end of July.

The company's second-quarter earnings report revealed that it also holds 756 million Cronos tokens on its balance sheet, valued at $40.6 million as of June 30. However, this value has decreased to $34.45 million due to the decline in the token's price.

The company cannot sell 684 million of these tokens for three years under a purchase agreement, but it will be allowed to sell about 10% of them starting from August 26 over the next six months.
