Trump's Presidency Transformed into Personal ATM, Experts Warn of Corruption
Donald Trump's second term in office has been marked by an unprecedented level of personal enrichment, raising concerns among legal and ethics experts about corruption and conflicts of interest.
According to financial disclosures filed in June, Trump earned a staggering $2.2 billion in income last year from various sources, including large investments in cryptocurrencies and benefits received from foreign interests.
The majority of this income came from his cryptocurrency-related businesses, which brought in at least $1.4 billion in revenue in 2025. However, about a million investors in one of Trump's crypto ventures suffered losses of nearly $3.8 billion after the value of their assets plummeted.
Trump has also begun to monetize his presidency through various means, including offering wealthy customers special access to his posts on Truth Social for $100,000 per month. This move has raised serious questions about conflicts of interest and corruption.
