President Donald Trump's administration is exploring ways to bring the Hyperliquid trading platform into the US market. The plan, dubbed 'Hyperliquid,' involves a separate regulated product built with Kraken parent company Payward and its CFTC-regulated subsidiary Bitnomial.

The proposed structure would allow U.S. customers to access Hyperliquid-related markets while operating within domestic regulatory requirements. However, this approach would create a two-tier system: a broader offshore venue alongside a more restricted U.S. product designed for compliance.

Regulatory changes remain a significant hurdle, with the CFTC and Securities and Exchange Commission potentially needing to address rules governing custody and market structure. The process may take up to a year, according to reporting.
