Trust Wallet's Built-In Swap Feature: How It Works and When to Use External Exchanges
Trust Wallet has become a go-to self-custody wallet for over 100 million users worldwide, supporting more than 100 blockchains and tens of millions of tokens.
The wallet also comes with a built-in swap feature that allows users to exchange cryptocurrencies directly within the app.
There are two ways to swap in Trust Wallet: using the built-in swap feature or connecting to external instant exchange platforms like Boomchange.
The built-in swap feature connects to decentralized liquidity across supported networks, including Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Polygon, Solana, and others. Users can choose their tokens, review the quote, and confirm the transaction.
However, if users need to exchange assets between completely different blockchains, such as Bitcoin to USDT (TRC20), they'll generally require an external instant exchange like Boomchange.
