TRX Goes Live on US Exchanges via First Ever ETF
Tron's native cryptocurrency TRX has joined the list of major crypto assets trading in the U.S. as its first exchange-traded fund (ETF) went live today. The Canary Staked TRX ETF, issued by Canary Funds, began trading on the Chicago Stock Exchange and Cboe under the ticker TRXS.
The launch marks a significant milestone for Tron's ecosystem, allowing institutional investors in the U.S. to access TRX through traditional firms offering support for the product. The ETF is designed to provide exposure to the spot price of TRX and allow investors to generate additional returns through staking.
Justin Sun, founder of Tron, reacted to the news on X, highlighting the launch of the first U.S.-listed exchange-traded fund offering exposure to TRX. He declared that the network has kicked off to a good start.
