TRXS Brings TRX Staking Rewards to Mainstream Investors
The Tron network is about to get a major boost as Canary Capital's staking TRX ETF, ticker TRXS, lists on Cboe tomorrow, September 9. This move will give U.S. investors direct exposure to the price of TRX and its associated on-chain staking rewards without requiring wallets or private keys.
The fund will stake at least 90% of its TRX holdings under normal conditions, with up to 20% deducted for service fees. The net rewards will then flow back into the fund's daily net asset value (NAV), allowing traditional accounts to capture Tron network yields alongside price movement.
This structure is unique in that it imports the chain's native economics, moving beyond standard spot products. Continuous inflows would force ongoing TRX purchases and sustained staking, linking traditional capital directly to Tron's validator economy and expanding long-term network participation.
