Tudor Investment Corp Boosts Stake in Blackrock Bitcoin ETF
Billionaire hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones has increased his stake in Blackrock's spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) to $22.9 million, according to a newly filed 13F with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The position grew by 18.9% from the prior quarter, with Tudor Investment Corp holding 688,529 shares of Ishares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT).
Jones has been a long-standing advocate for bitcoin as an inflation hedge, first disclosing exposure to the asset in May 2020 via bitcoin futures.
The $106 billion firm's stake is not a significant portion of its total book, but it signals a growing interest in spot Bitcoin ETFs among traditional asset managers.
