Tusk Seeks Revote of Crypto Rules Amid Zondacrypto Scandal

Poland's Prime Minister Donald Tusk has called for a revote on the President's veto of the Crypto-Asset Market Act after the Zondacrypto scandal. The exchange collapsed in a $94M scam, prompting PM Tusk to seek a re-vote.

The vetoes left Poland in regulatory limbo, unable to enforce EU MiCA standards. As a result, exchanges cannot register in Poland, with Tusk accusing politicians of taking bribes from the failed exchange.

Tusk pointed fingers at President Karol Nawrocki's involvement in the scandal, where affected customers lost up to $94 million. He accused the governing party of receiving 'cash for watches worth 40,000 euros' and other forms of bribery.
