Two-Thirds of Americans Think Trump's Crypto Profits Are Unacceptable

Share

A new Reuters/Ipsos poll reveals that most Americans believe President Donald Trump and his family have improperly profited from cryptocurrency ventures. The survey found that 63% of respondents consider it inappropriate for Trump and his family to have earned over $1.4 billion from crypto ventures like World Liberty Financial and his self-branded meme coin.

The poll also showed that a majority of Americans, including two-thirds of independents and nine in ten Democrats, believe the president's private business interests are influencing his decisions in office. Even among Trump's own Republicans, roughly half said they think he lets business interests sway his decisions.

However, about seven in ten Republicans still considered the family's crypto dealings appropriate. The White House has denied any conflicts of interest, stating that there are no improprieties and that Trump acts only in the public's interest.
