U.S. Crypto ETFs Flooded with Over $2 Billion in Weekly Inflows
U.S. crypto exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a significant influx of money last week, with over $2 billion in net inflows. The largest contributor to this trend was Bitcoin ETFs, which received $924.48 million. Ethereum-based ETFs followed closely behind, attracting $824.42 million. Solana and XRP ETFs also experienced notable growth, bringing in $153.87 million and $110.49 million, respectively.
Interestingly, BlackRock's IBIT and ETHA led individual funds among the top performers. It's worth noting that this surge is part of a larger trend where institutional demand for regulated crypto products remains strong. In fact, XRP ETFs have posted their strongest weekly performance so far in 2026.
However, not all news was positive for Bitcoin ETFs, as they saw an outflow of $201.8 million on August 28. This marked the end of a nine-day streak of inflows, but it's unclear if this development will have any lasting impact on the trend.
