U.S., UK Unite Against Crypto Scam Centers

A new international alliance has been formed between U.S. and UK agencies to disrupt crypto scam centers and cyber-enabled investment fraud.

The agreement, signed by prosecutors and investigators in Washington and the UK, allows for parallel investigations, intelligence sharing, and coordinated prosecutions targeting overlapping targets.

According to the DOJ, reported losses from crypto investment fraud in the U.S. have surged 89% from $4.57 billion in 2023 to $8.65 billion in 2025.
