UAE Royal Backs Trump-Linked Crypto Bank with $23.7 Billion Stake
An Abu Dhabi royal's investment group reportedly holds a significant stake in a holding company behind World Liberty Financial's proposed U.S. trust bank.
The reported ownership puts Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE's national security adviser and chairman of AI company G42, behind StringZ Holding RSC, which owns 49% of WLTC Holdings.
An entity affiliated with the Trump family reportedly owns another 38% of WLTC Holdings. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) granted World Liberty Trust Company preliminary conditional approval on August 14.
