UK Money Laundering Suspect Invests $100M in Trump-Linked Crypto Business
A UK individual previously under investigation for money laundering has been linked to a $100 million investment in World Liberty Financial, a cryptocurrency business tied to the Trump family.
Guren Zhou, also known as Bobby, was reportedly behind the Aqua 1 entity that purchased WLFI tokens from World Liberty in June 2025.
The token purchase benefited members of President Donald Trump's family and co-founder Zach Witkoff.
Aqua 1 described itself as a 'Web3-native fund' based in the United Arab Emirates, raising questions about potential conflicts of interest in the Trump administration.
