UK Political Donations: Crypto Billionaire Gives £36 Million to Reform Party

British crypto billionaire Ben Delo has made the largest donation ever to a UK political party by giving £36 million ($49 million) to Reform UK, led by Nigel Farage.

The contribution surpasses the previous largest donation of £9 million given by billionaire Christopher Harborne in August last year.

Delo stated that he donated the money to ensure a 'fair fight' at the polls, and Farage expressed gratitude for the donation, saying it shows confidence in Reform UK's ability to turn Britain around.

The donation has raised concerns about the influence of crypto assets on UK politics, with some lawmakers considering a permanent ban on crypto donations following an investigation into Farage's ties to the industry.
