Ukrainian Officials Declare Nearly $20 Million in Cryptocurrency

The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NAZK) has released its audit findings, revealing that officials in Ukraine declared nearly UAH 839 million in cryptocurrency in their declarations for 2025. The agency used logical and arithmetic checks to assess the risk of undeclared assets.

The top five cryptocurrencies declared by officials include Tether (USDT), Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, and Binance Coin (BNB).

According to the NAZK press service, the owners of cryptocurrency were mainly civil servants in categories V, B, and A, as well as local self-government body representatives.

The most valuable crypto assets were declared by Kyiv-based officials, totaling nearly UAH 265 million. Significant sums were also recorded among representatives from Odesa, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zakarpattia region.
