Undervalued Altcoins: SOL, LINK, and XRP Lead Recovery Candidates
Solana (SOL) is viewed as one of the strongest recovery candidates among large-cap altcoins, according to an analysis. The project has been drawing institutional demand despite its price decline, with U.S.-listed investment funds recording inflows on every trading day last month. These funds now manage about $1 billion in assets, with nearly half held by institutional investors.
The Solana network's largest upgrade to date, Alpenglow, is expected to significantly reduce settlement times once fully deployed later this year. However, the project still faces challenges, including a decline in daily network revenue and weakened retail participation.
Chainlink (LINK) is another large-cap altcoin identified as undervalued, despite its price decline of over 80% below its all-time high. The project continues to expand its infrastructure across traditional finance, with partners such as SWIFT and UBS using its network for cross-chain transactions.
