Undervalued Altcoins: Solana, Chainlink, and XRP Attract Institutional Interest
The crypto market's weak price action hasn't deterred analysts from identifying several large-cap altcoins as undervalued. Among them are Solana (SOL), Chainlink (LINK), and XRP, all of which continue to develop and attract institutional interest despite the broader market downturn.
Solana is viewed as the strongest recovery candidate, trading about 75% below its all-time high. However, it's also seen a significant decline in daily network revenue, falling from $1.5 million to just $314,000 over the past year. Despite this, U.S.-listed Solana investment funds recorded inflows on every trading day last month and now manage about $1 billion in assets.
Chainlink is another project identified as undervalued. It continues to trade more than 80% below its all-time high but has expanded its infrastructure across traditional finance, enabling banks and financial institutions to connect with blockchain networks without replacing their existing systems. Its partners include SWIFT and firms such as UBS and Euroclear.
XRP is also highlighted despite its price decline, which stands at nearly 43% this year. The asset continues to see broader adoption, particularly in cross-border payments, liquidity, and tokenized assets. With the SEC lawsuit largely resolved, XRP now has seven U.S.-listed investment funds that have attracted nearly $1.5 billion in cumulative inflows since launch.
