Undervalued Altcoins: Solana, Chainlink, and XRP Show Promise Amid Market Downturn
Solana (SOLUSD) and Chainlink (LINKUSD) are among the top undervalued altcoins, according to analysts who point to their continued development, institutional interest, and growing network activity as reasons for optimism.
Solana's largest network upgrade, Alpenglow, is expected to improve transaction finality from 12.8 seconds to about 150 milliseconds once fully deployed later this year. However, daily network revenue has fallen by nearly 80%, and retail participation has weakened, with wallets holding at least 0.1 SOL declining by 5% over the past two weeks.
Chainlink's infrastructure continues to expand across traditional finance, enabling banks and financial institutions to connect with blockchain networks without replacing their existing systems. Its partners include SWIFT, UBS, and Euroclear, among others. However, the project faces growing competition from interoperability networks such as LayerZero and Wormhole.
XRP is also highlighted as undervalued despite its price decline of nearly 43% this year. Adoption, not short-term price movements, will determine the asset's long-term value, according to Sagar Shah, Chief Business Officer at Evernorth. With the SEC lawsuit largely resolved, XRP now has seven U.S.-listed investment funds that have attracted nearly $1.5 billion in cumulative inflows since launch.
