UNI Price Surpasses $4 as Uniswap Updates Fuel Buying Interest
Uniswap's price has briefly surpassed $4 after updates related to its upcoming fee structure sparked buying interest. According to CoinGecko, UNI rose as high as $4.06 before retreating to around $3.97, leaving the token up about 3.7% from its daily opening price and roughly 8.5% above its July 29 low of $3.74.
The move pushed Uniswap back above the psychological $4 level for the first time in recent sessions, marking a recovery of more than 70% from its June low near $2.35. The token has continued to post higher highs and higher lows since bottoming out in June.
Buyers have managed to keep the price above important short-term support levels despite sellers emerging around the $4 mark. The interest in Uniswap strengthened after founder Hayden Adams addressed concerns surrounding the protocol's upcoming fee structure for Uniswap v4.
